Liver Detoxification and Cleanse

Before starting a cleanse:

Consider strengthening your liver with a glutathione IV push or intranasal aerosoled glutathione. Humans have one of the least effective liver/gallbladder detoxification systems of mammals, so it makes a lot of sense to support it aggressively. Of course, herbals can be effective, not just for the liver, but also other organ systems to balance the effects.

Liver cleanse: Short

Pick a day you can just relax and stay near the bathroom.
The day before have nothing to drink or eat after 2pm.
At 6pm, mix ¾ tablespoon of epsom salt in warm water or juice, raspberry, blueberry or whatever you desire. The liquid can be warm or at room temperature. Drink it.
At 8pm, mix the same thing and get the olive oil and water ready, ½ cup of each and leave them out at room temperature.
At 10pm mix the olive oil and water and drink it down. Then go straight to bed.
At 6am or later, no earlier, drink another class of epsom salt and again 2 hours later.
At this point you can eat or drink, be warned you must stay near the bathroom.
Relax the whole day.

Liver cleanse: One month

Do the “BASIC FRAMEWORK” of detoxification below, and choose from the following additional protocols:

Use “Detox-Kit” and “Galium-Heel” homeopathics from Heel, Inc. (www.heelusa.com)

Use OptiCleanse Plus from Zymogen or the Cleanse product from Apex Energetics or equivalents.

“BASIC FRAMEWORK” of detoxification

The most important aspect of detoxification is to have a solid support for those glands involved. Measure liver function during the detoxification to ensure a safe, effective process. Do not harm your tissues with the toxins that will be released. Use a strong “binder” that will carry the toxins out of the body so they do not get re-absorbed further down the GI tract.

First, use vegetable (with some apple) juices and achieve an alkaline pH for urine and saliva. Second, “unload” your liver by not having heavy meals late in the day. The liver detoxifies at night, so leave it free of excess food so it can detoxify in an optimal manner. Third, make sure you are using supplements that support “phase II” of detoxification. Fourth, consider colonics during this process. Finally, make use of herbal liver tonics, as well as organ tonics and adaptogens, to protect and support your liver and organs.
